Youth
THE NOISE is a massive clean up event involving painting play areas, litter picking, redecorating, landscape gardening to name but a few.
The Noise is about young people making a different sound in their communities. It gives young people the opportunity to have fun and make new friends but also make a real difference in the place where they live.
The Noise was an idea that came from a group in Manchester, called The Message. A number of young people from churches in Hereford went to a Noise event in Manchester and decided they wanted the same to happen in their community. Noise projects have been a huge success in Hereford for the last 3 years involving over 600 young people.
The support from the local community has been very strong. The Police and Fire service, local schools, housing agencies and charities have all worked hard to make these events happen.
